Here is some general information about this project.

Spotlight on History

The beginning of buidling MINI models for Star Wars was even before the offical launch of LEGOs first MINI sets in January 2003. Of course we all knew about LEGOs new line and I was fascinated by the small vehicles which were soon to come. So I thought I should try to design a MINI model myself. And then my first MINI model, the AT-AT, had been completed. And that is how the story began. From this point on, I designed more and more MINI models, and you can see where we are today by taking a look in the galleries.

The Future

At the beginning of this project, I only designed - as the LEGO company - models from the Original Movies. However we near completion of this era. There are only a handful vehciles left, and those are difficult ones. Of course I will make an attempt to build these as well, but what would be next?
Thus I decided to lay my hands on the Expanded Universe (EU), meaning everything else except the Original Movies. There are so many great vehicles and vessel appearing in the EU sources like the Roleplaying Game, novels, comics, etc. that there is plenty of stuff that can still be done in future!
